Our Story: WHOLE BRAIN Learning Materials
Our journey began when we introduced Charlotte to the right-brain approach at the tender age of 2, using flashcards. At that time, this method was relatively unknown to me, prompting extensive research to connect with like-minded individuals and learn from the success stories of children who have thrived using this approach for over six decades.
Despite its global recognition, the right-brain approach remains relatively less prevalent in the United States. A common misconception surrounds early education, with many assuming it starts around pre-kindergarten, typically at age four. Little did I know that it was possible to initiate education as early as 12 months.
As a working mother running a small business, I faced numerous doubts. How could I possibly teach my child while constantly juggling my time? I embarked on this journey filled with uncertainties, a lack of assistance, and a fair share of criticism. Late nights were spent creating flashcards, in-depth research on the program, preparing for the next day's lessons, and delving into the works of influential authors such as Glenn Doman and Makoto Shichida. As time progressed, the results were nothing short of astonishing. Charlotte's ability to absorb information surpassed my expectations. Crafting the educational materials proved to be the most challenging aspect of the program. Developing top-notch educational content can be overwhelming and at times disheartening due to time constraints, waning motivation, limited resources, and occasional lack of support.
Our transition to the whole-brain approach occurred when Charlotte reached the age of three and a half.
We firmly believe that to unlock a child's maximum potential, it's crucial to strengthen the connection between the right and left hemispheres of their brain.
Our program was born out of a desire to build a community of mothers who share the belief that their children can achieve their full potential. It serves as a safe haven for mothers to exchange their challenges, ideas, suggestions, opinions, and passions.
Working alongside our dedicated team, we've created downloadable flashcards that are readily accessible for parents. For those with limited time to print and laminate cards, we offer convenient hard copies.
We're excited to embark on this journey with you. We firmly believe that mothers are the best teachers, and our ultimate goal is to empower you to be the exceptional educator we know you can be. We're here to assist, guide, and support you every step of the way.
